Do specific industries benefit more from the program?

It’s not necessarily about the industry or sector, but more about the people. The program is designed for small business owners with an entrepreneurial mindset, including their teams of directors and managers.

I’m a new manager/entrepreneur. Will the F.O.C.U.S. System help me?

The F.O.C.U.S. System is designed to be functionally simple, making it a highly beneficial tool for new small business owners, entrepreneurs, directors, and managers!

Can the F.O.C.U.S. System help us manage cash flow issues?

Cash flow problems frequently stem from inconsistencies and inefficiencies in business operations. By enhancing consistency and efficiency, the F.O.C.U.S. System can help address your cash flow management needs.

Can you provide more details about the accountability and support structure that is established in the program?

The program consists of two phases. Phase I is all about crafting your focus plan. Phase II introduces a robust accountability support structure, which encompasses a scheduled series of accountability meetings throughout the year. We suggest involving a trained facilitator to lead these meetings for the initial six months.

How long is the F.O.C.U.S. System program?

Phase I is completed during a half-day workshop, where you will work effectively through the workbook to set your intentions and milestones for the next 12 months. Phase II extends for 12 months and includes monthly and/or quarterly meetings with your coach to ensure your team stays on track. While this ongoing support program is optional, it is highly recommended for optimal success.

What happens when we’re done with the program?

Upon completing Phase I, you will be equipped to run the program independently. However, most participants opt to have some help in the first year. For this reason, we offer Phase II to assist with implementing the program in your business for the first 12 months.

After the first year, it’s time to repeat the process! You can choose to do this independently, or continue with the program under the guidance of our trained facilitators.

What happens if it doesn’t work?

The beauty of the F.O.C.U.S. System lies in its ability to help you identify weaknesses in your business. In other words, if the System is working, you’re likely discovering areas of your business that need improvement.

You might find that your leadership team lacks the necessary skills to stay on track, or perhaps your own leadership capabilities need further development. These are positive discoveries as they illuminate what needs to change to elevate your business to the next level. We are here to support you through these growth challenges. Your trained facilitator can help identify additional resources to aid in your team’s growth.

Are there any specific success metrics or milestones that participants should strive to achieve during or after the program?

Success metrics are tailored just for you. They match the goals set out in your F.O.C.U.S. plan. You will know exactly where you stand and where you are headed.

How much does the F.O.C.U.S. System cost?

Phase I is priced at $____ for the half-day session. Phase II varies from $____ to $___, depending on your team size and how frequently you would like to meet with your coach over the next 12 months. We recommend monthly meetings for the best success.

Who should participate from my team?

The program initially involves owners and executive-level leadership team members. As you proceed, you might wish to include more people, but we recommend starting with your key players.

How does the program assist participants in finding and retaining team members?

The F.O.C.U.S. System provides a highly effective process for identifying productive team members and establishing performance improvement criteria, which improves the morale of existing team members. Once you have ideal people in positions, identifying good fits for your business in the future becomes easier. If you need additional help with hiring and promoting team members, Evoc has partners who can assist with these issues.

Do I need to be in Arizona to complete the program?

The F.O.C.U.S. System can be run from anywhere. We offer both in-person and virtual Phase I workshops regularly, so please sign up for whatever suits you best.

What can I expect from my F.O.C.U.S. System coach?

During Phase I, the coach facilitates the creation of your F.O.C.U.S. plan, leaving you with a ready-to-implement plan for your business. In Phase II, the coach facilitates all calibration meetings and is available to answer questions to support the successful execution of your F.O.C.U.S. plan.

Are there any ongoing resources or support provided to participants?

All participants receive the annual F.O.C.U.S. workbook, which includes all necessary forms to establish the focus plan and carry out calibration meetings. If you opt for Phase II, you will have support for the next 12 months. Your facilitating coach will set up monthly or quarterly check-in meetings and will be available for support during Drop-In Coaching hours.
